Terminal Cancer

On Thursday night, my mother told me her aunt’s husband (my uncle in law) has terminal cancer and less than a year to live. Obviously my uncle is not blood related. However this is not the first time someone in my extended family has had cancer. In November 2010 my aunt (four child in the family) in Vietnam died from cancer, in 2007 my cousin from (my second aunt) died suddenly, in August 2002 my uncle in Reno had remission in cancer and died. And a few years ago my cousin (from my third uncle) had chemotherapy from cancer.

My mother said my aunt shared this news with her but he himself doesn’t know. I was angered by this because I think people have a right to know if there own life is about to be over. I said to my mother “When is he going to find out, when he’s vomiting blood.”
